Hi

They are quite easy to install ourself if you have the tools to remove the existing stereo and fascia in your car. Then match up the plugs and socket.

The solution was to replace the cheap 'charge only' iPhone lead with a fully wired and fully functional official apple USB lead to restore full apple carplay and iPhone charging.

iPhone wired CarPlay not working

The wired car play wouldn't work, but the wireless version did.

Having wired meant the phone could be charged with carplay was active so using the wireless carplay was not ideal. A solution was required to make the wired car play function properly on the Android Headunit.
