Re: Language of DIC Stuck in chinese
Hi This is a common problem with the junk android head units for custom fit and CAN BUS integrated for some cars. There is a topic here for 'In-car display changed to Chinese' that may help, but if it doesn't... You can contact the vendor of your headunit for a fix. Disconnect the CAN BUS connection...

Re: New Member
Hello Bugs. Nice specifications for a head unit and the 360 is a good extra. Well worth the extra effort IMHO. Well done with your successful installation

Re: Passwords
Hi
Have you seen the PIN CODES for an Android Headunit on the other site? It has a list of passcodes, explains how to decode the rotating dev code and has a 360 camera code of 4321.

Re: MikeyDroid - Introduction
Hi
You probably have a faulty CAN BUS box. Sometimes they they have a bad connection to the head unit and other times the box is faulty.
All assumes you have selected the correct car for can bus in the advanced settings, first....

Re: all
Hello
Generally the generic 360 camera setup password is:
360 Camera code: 4321
The developer password may be found in his list
https://android-headunits.com/pin-codes ... -headunit/
But then again it may not. It's worth a try.

Re: Can Bus connections/settings
Hi That's quite a journey you have been on. Do you have a factory installed rear camera? Did it work before the android was installed? The lines for the camera are often generated by the headunit so you may have not connection to the camera at all. You could try a standard camera if the headunit has...

Re: Head unit keeps crashing
Hello The dead android man does not have anything to do with fuses or bad connections to the headunit. This is the android firmware in a right muddle and if it returns after disconnecting the car battery (or removing and discnnecting) the head unit, the first thing to do is a factory reset. The rese...

Re: Reversing camera options
Hello I see the problem. The solution could be a wireless kit that converts a standard RCA-type reversing camera to a wireless transmitter. The receiver part is connected to the Android Headunit - pink wire, yellow RCA, and it needs 12v power. They are not WiFi, so no passwords are needed, but they ...

Re: Lost ZLINK app after a factory restore
My android head unit was getting slow so I did a factory restore to try to clear out the old accumulated junk that had been building up over the years? It all restored ok, with the expeption of ZLINK app. It didn't restore. Is there any way to get it back, is it hidden somewhere in the syste...

Re: Change z-Link app icon
The main stumbling block is the Launcher (that shows your home screen and icons). Not all launchers have this feature; in fact, most don't. Being Android, it is often quite possible to use a different Launcher. Some (Launchers) look like phones, but others look completely different and are designed...
