Hi Jafajones here from Auckland, NZ. I have just installed a new HU in my wife's VW Golf and so far quite impressed, esp considering price and functionality which includes wired and wireless Apple CarPlay

I have done the same for my Mazda CX-5 2013. Fitting was easy but, got a few snags. Volume on phoecalls is too low and can't bring myself to fit the rear camera because I cannot find any videos of how to physically run cable into boot lid.

How are you doing?

NB: Cannot find the damned SEARCH on this forum..... Kinda fundamental!!

Yes, the sound volume on calls is rubbish. I have been thinking about getting an external microphone for mine to see if that can improve things.


I found the search :D it is top left (burger menu), or on the right as a magnifying glass
