Change z-Link app icon
My HU uses he Z-Link5 app to provide CarPlay functionality, I would love to change the Z-Link Icon to something that resembles the Apple Carplay Icon so that this is more intuitive for my wife. GI have search around without much success and would greatly appreciate any assistance

Re: Change z-Link app icon
Hello
Changing the icons for apps on Android is not as simple as you would imagine.
The main stumbling block is the launcher (that shows your home screen and icons). Not all launchers have this feature, in fact most don't.
What you can try is a
Long press on the icon and see if a menu pops up
If you get a menu, Select an icon that could resemble 'edit' . You could try each in turn.
If you are lucky enough to find an 'edit' option you should be able to choose a new icon.

Thanks for that, I tried the long press option but unfortunately there is no edit option, she may have to live with the Zlink icon

Being Android, it is often quite possible to use a different Launcher. Some (Launchers) look like phones, but others look completely different and are designed for in-car use.
Please have a look at our post about AGAMA with a VW logo Launcher. It's nothing like your stock launcher; you can assign a new button to the Z-Link app. You may struggle with the FM app and AGAMA Launcher, but as always, with these headunits, there are trade-offs.
AGAMA is not the only Launcher

I Love Car Launchers. Show us a picture of your headunit with your favorite Car Launcher screen in our Car Launcher Topic
