Language of DIC Stuck in chinese

Language of DIC Stuck in chinese
Whenever I turn my car on, the DIC (screen in the center near the speedometer that has my oil health and speed and gas mileage on it) is stuck in chinese. When i go to settings to try to change it, it just switches to english for a second and turns back. Would a new Canbus box be useful. for solving this? Do i need to upgrade the Canbus box? I would really appreciate if someone could please kindly explain how this canbus stuff works; why i can’t set my steering wheel controls nor change my DIC language.

Hi
This is a common problem with the junk android head units for custom fit and CAN BUS integrated for some cars.
There is a topic here for 'In-car display changed to Chinese' that may help, but if it doesn't...
You can contact the vendor of your headunit for a fix.
Disconnect the CAN BUS connection to the car's BUS, but you will need to dig into the can bus box wiring.
Remove the Android and refit the factor stereo or a better aftermarket one.

Do you have the correct vehicle selected in the can BUS setting of the Android?

The eBay sellers bail out when they have exhausted the the stock of fake headunits and disappear before they have to pay the money back.
